Well, hello!
I hope you are all enjoying this Sunday afternoon where ever you find yourself!
The her:
I am Brittany Dail and I live in Greenville South Carolina. I graduated from college last year and got my degree in Health Promotion. I share an apartment with some friends and work as the catering coordinator at Panera. Big money, I know...not really.
I serve on leadership and take part in leading worship at a church plant in Greenville while helping with ministry there. My ministry in the past few years has been similar with camp jobs during the summers and working with students at the college I went to.
The rant:
I have a left foot that is about an inch longer than my right. Ironically enough I have taken all french courses in high school and college #iknownospanish. I am a huge fan of peanut butter (the real stuff). I claim the average height of 6'2" (not an athelete..this comes as a disappointment to many...go figure). Fire and heights make me uncomfortable. Traveling and exploring makes me very excited.
I am definitely a people person and love the energy I get from people. Community is something of growing value and importance the older I get and I look forward to growing in that with you all.
The good stuff:
If there is anything the Lord has been telling me lately, it's that there is a lot of beauty in uncertainity. Being in this awesome post college/starting life on my own / what am I doing with my life limbo, this would be the best circumstances to be frustrated and impatient with (not that I haven't had my days), but I'm finding a lot of beauty waiting on the Lord and not feeling like I have to have things figured out.
I am looking towards this summer with all expectations and no expectations at the same time. The Lord will move, He just does and He will stretch us. I expect it. Yet, I am not expecting (and actually not preferring) it to go the way I might think it will.
Enough of me, more about you all, please!
